This privacy policy explains how the Android app FastPDF (“FastPDF: Merge & Compress PDF”, the “App”) handles your data. The App is developed and published by Yücel Özdemir (Google Play developer name “MunichDevs”).

• No account or sign-in is required.
• The content you work with in the App stays on your device.
• I do not operate servers that receive your content or usage data.
• The App shows ads from Google AdMob, which processes certain device data (section 5).

3. Data stored on your device

PDFs and images you open are processed locally on your device. FastPDF only accesses files you select yourself or share to it, and never uploads them. Your drawn signature and the list of recently opened files are stored only on your device.

This data does not leave your device unless you share it yourself, for example via Android's share menu. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage deletes it.

4. Permissions

• Files: only the files you pick or share to FastPDF.
• Internet: only to load ads and process purchases – never to process your files.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free and financed by ads from Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. To deliver, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may process:

• the advertising ID and other device identifiers,
• IP address and approximate location derived from it,
• information about your device and operating system,
• app interaction, diagnostic and ad-performance data.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent via Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown; without consent, only non-personalised ads are shown. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time in the App's privacy options or by contacting me. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings › Privacy › Ads.

Google may process data in countries outside the EU, including the USA, on the basis of the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

6. In-app purchases and Google Play

Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. I do not receive your payment details, only the information needed to confirm and unlock what you bought. The App also uses Google Play services (for example for ads, billing and in-app reviews); Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

7. Legal bases

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – providing the App and processing purchases you request.
• Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG – your consent for personalised ads and for accessing information on your device where consent is required.
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in financing the free App with non-personalised ads, preventing fraud and answering your enquiries.

8. Retention

I do not store personal data about you on my own systems. If you email me, I keep your message as long as needed to handle your request and delete it afterwards, unless the law requires longer retention. Google retains data according to its own policies.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). To exercise these rights, email contact@yucelozdemir.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Ansbach).

10. Children

The App is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact me and it will be deleted.

11. Changes

I may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
